Happy 1st Birthday Baby Z!

Dear Baby Z,

It's hard to believe that a year has gone by since I first held you in my arms.  I remember the exact moment the doctor put you on my chest and how surprised I was that you were a girl!  Your Daddy and I decided to wait until you were born to see if you were a boy or a girl and you were the best surprise I've had in a long time!  I will never forget the second I laid my eyes on you and saw absolute perfection - you face, your arms, your fingers and toes, and your tiny little body.  Sometimes I wish I could go back in time to experience it all over again and then I look at you now, and love the little person you've become.

Your first year has gone by exceptionally fast.  You've been the most perfect baby - you're calm, patient and happy.  You love to smile, squeal and make your siblings laugh.  You're fashionable {okay, Mommy will take a little credit for that} and you're not quite mobile {making Mommy's life a lot easier - I kid, I kid!}.  Actually, as I'm writing this post, I'm watching you on the brink of crawling as you play with your toys.  You love to stand and I have a feeling that perhaps you'll skip the crawling stage all togther and just start walking one day.

This past year has been full of bonding and unconditional love.  You've bought so much joy and have made our family complete.  Your sister, and then your brother, coined your nickname Baby ZoZo, and now everyone calls you that including your brother's preschool friends and teachers!  He must talk about you a lot at school!

So here's to your first birthday and many more to come!  Here's to many more laughter, smiles, hugs, kisses and cuddles.  And here's to you - my beautiful baby girl.
