Calling all home decor enthusiasts! Your dream store has arrived in the form of a brand new Crate & Barrel in Vancouver's Oakridge Centre. We had an exclusive sneak peak before it officially opened to the public on May 21st and here are some of the many swank & stylish pieces we found:
I loved the style of Crate & Barrel's timeless designs which was a mix of modern and historic flair. If money was no object, I would definitely splurge on a new wooden dining set complete with chairs and a bench. I can already imagine the many dinner parties and nights of entertainment spent at the table with friends and family. I would also buy new furniture for the living room - with a modern colour palate such as the yellow and blue shown here:
It seems to me that Crate & Barrel caters to a more upscale crowd but they do have budget-friendly pieces for the swank but careful shopaholic like me:

All in all, it was a great night away from the kids - sipping on wine, tasting delicious appies, and meeting the people working behind the scenes with this lifestyle brand.
