I can't remember when it started but once my son first laid eyes on his first superhero, it was like he had found his soul mate for life.  It could have been built in his DNA, or he could have quite possibly been brainwashed by his superhero loving uncle - whatever the cause, the pairing was inevitable.  I wouldn't be lying if I said that Lil J lives, breathes and dreams in a superhero fantasy world.

Really?  Did you really have to bring in more superheroes into my home every Tuesday night??!  You are only making my child a superhero fanatic, you know.  Smart marketing ploy, I tell ya!

There isn't a day that goes by that I don't hear about Iron Man losing an arm or Captain America losing his sword.  Sometimes Batman is nowhere to be seen and then Gotham shuts down until Batman is safely in Lil J's arms.

Ah!  Life with superhero crazed four year old...

Oh, and it's not just four year olds.  It happens to one year old toddlers too.  This is what happens when you leave your daughter alone with her uncle {my brother - yes, aka the superhero poster boy}:

I guess it's final.  My life has been overtaken by Marvel, Spidey's web and all things superheroes!  I might as well wave the white flag while I still can...
