Maple Leaf Monster Jam Tour Review #Vancouver

Last Saturday, the entire family went to check out the legendary Monster Jam Tour at BC Place.  The boys were super excited to see their beloved trucks in action and was the testosterone ever in high gear!  We were treated to amazing stunts over crushed cars and dirt piles, not to mention the roaring sounds of the monster engines.

I ended up forgetting Baby Z's ear muffs, so we ended up with the Monster Jam ones.  Not complaining at all because she looked just adorable in them {if I may say so myself!}:

As soon as the monster trucks came roaring into the stadium, the boys were in complete awe.  There's something about the growling engines, speed and, perhaps, just the monster trucks themselves that can get a crowd's adrenaline pumping!

Our favourite part of the show was the freestyle portion where each monster truck {and it's driver} showed off their many dirt-flying, high-octane stunts.  It was also fun to see that even a World Freestyle Champion can get into a bit of a rut - Cam McQueen displayed some amazing stunts with Northern Nightmare but may have spun around a little too fast and ended up on its side.  Lil J didn't care though - he loved seeing the bulldozers {is that what they're called?} come to Northern Nightmare's rescue!

Crazy stunts

The Maple Leaf Monster Jam Tour is headed to Edmonton next for two shows on February 9th - 10th!   Tickets can be purchased via Ticketmaster.ca for any of the remaining shows.
