{swank} review & giveaway: Little Star Greetings Holiday Cards

'Tis the season to be jolly...and to find the perfect holiday card to send to your closest family and friends.  While I do love this time of year, I also want everything to run smoothly with no stress or hassles - that includes creating our yearly holiday cards.  This year, we were fortunate enough to work with Canadian company, Little Star Greetings and their team, to design our holiday cards from their existing templates.

Not only does owner and founder Melanie Severin run Little Star Greetings, she also creates most of their designs found on their website - from wedding and birthday invitations to birth announcements and, of course, holiday cards!

Each holiday card is printed on lustre or matte photo paper, or smooth {extra thick!} cardstock paper with an option to upgrade to either premium matte or shimmer pearl cardstock for an additional cost.  Matching patterns can also be printed on the back of the card or left blank.  I opted for the smooth cardstock and am extremely pleased with it!  Everything about our Little Star Greetings holiday cards exudes high quality and designer appeal.

There is also an option to create your own digital copy for the convenience of printing at home.  That way you can print off as many copies as you want, when you want.  Genius, right?!

Here is a sample of the template we chose which was designed by the wonderful Melanie Severin:

Once you submit your order, a member of Little Star's design team will email a proof for approval and amend any imperfections as they/you see fit.  For example, I chose the Four Photo Pop holiday card and wanted to include our family name as well as each of our names {five in total} underneath the family name.  A member of the design team was able to tweak the font size so all of the names were legible and not squished together.  The end result was perfect!  I also loved how the template allowed for a picture of the entire family plus individual pictures of all three of our kids.

I also love the size of the cards - 5x7 - which is big enough to stand out and not get lost in a pile of holiday cards!
